God Answers....!!
"If you have the time,” I said.
God smiled and said: “My time is called eternity and is enough to do everything. What questions do you have in mind to ask me?”
"None that are new to you. What’s the one thing that surprises you most about mankind?”
God answered:
”That they get bored being children, are in a rush to grow up, and then long to be children again.
That they lose their health to make money and then-lose their money to restore their health.
That by thinking anxiously about the future, they forget the present, such that they live neither for the present nor the future.
That they live as if they will never die, and they die as if they had never lived…”
God’s hands took mine and we were silent.
After a long period, I said, “May I ask you another question? As a parent, what would you ask your children to do?”
God replied with a smile:”
To learn that they cannot make anyone love them.
To learn that it takes years to build trust, and a few seconds to destroy it.
To learn that what is most valuable is not what they have in their lives, but who they have in their lives.
To learn that it is not good to compare themselves to others. There will be others better or worse than they are.
To learn that a rich person is not one who has the most, but is one who needs the least.
To learn that they should control their attitudes, otherwise their attitudes will control them.
To learn that it only takes a few seconds to open profound wounds in persons we love, and that it takes many years to heal them.
To learn to forgive by practicing forgiveness.
To learn that there are persons that love them dearly, but simply do not know how to show their feelings.
To learn that money can buy everything but happiness.
To learn that while at times they may be entitled to be upset, that does not give them the right to upset those around them.
To learn that great dreams do not require great wings, but landing gear to achieve.
To learn that true friends are scarce.
To learn that it is not always enough that they be forgiven by others but that they forgive themselves.
To learn that they are masters of what they keep to themselves and slaves of what they say.
To learn that they shall reap what they plant; if they plant gossip they will harvest intrigues, if they plant love they will harvest happiness.
To learn that true happiness is not to achieve their goals but to learn to be satisfied with what they already achieved.
To learn that happiness is a decision. They decide to be happy with what they are and have, or die from envy and jealousy of what they lack.
To learn that two people can look at the same thing and see something totally different.
To learn that those who are honest with themselves, without considering the consequences ,go far in life.
To learn that even though they may think they have nothing to give, when a friend cries with them, they find the strength to appease the pain.
To learn that by trying to hold on to loved ones, they very quickly push them away; and by letting go of those they love, they will be side by side forever.
To learn that even though the word “love” has many different meanings, it loses value when it is overstated.
To learn that they can never do something extraordinary for Me to love them; I simply do.
To learn that the shortest distance they could be from Me is the distance of a prayer.”
If Only.......
If only we could fight our past,
If only we could control our sin,
This world would be a better place.
If only we could love another,
If only we could share our thoughts,
If only we could help each other,
This world would be a better place.
If only we were sober for a while,
And take out time to heal our hearts,
If only we could mend our style,
This world would be a better place.
If only we could feel the pain,
And if we could see beyond,
If only we could love again,
This world would be a better place.
If only we could shake our hands,
Without such greed in our eyes,
If only we could understand,
This world would be a better place.
If only we could live again,
And if we could be more human,
If only we stop being insane,
This world would be a better place.

Generate Love.......
how fleeting my life is. You have made my life no longer than the width of my hand. My entire lifetime is just a moment to you; at best, each of us is but a breath.” Psalm 39:4-5
With the beginning of the New Year, I realized that I never quite understood the paradoxical capacity contained in life, that is the brevity of each individual life despite the permanence of the effect that each could have on another.
We must ensure that while we celebrate the goodness of God, we do not neglect the purpose of God. Recognize that God’s intention is to use us as vessels for good. Not simply to do good, but to generate good, to lead others to good.
We live each day under the illusion that we have an endless amount of time to make the impact God designed us to make. This state of mind is compacted by our susceptibility of focusing on ourselves: our own problems, our own regrets, and our own past. We are consumed with trying to be loved instead of loving others and waste our time trying to control things we can’t control.
We must understand that our actions are not isolated events; rather, they are given meaning through the ripples they inevitably generate. So I ask myself, why do we choose to live under the ignorant impression that our actions are any less dynamic?
We have lost confidence in the power of influence, and because of this, we have lost the beauty of its art.
Live in 2010 with the awareness that your days are numbered. My resolution for the New Year is simple, but powerful. Abandon selfishness. Love others. Give sense to existence by giving to someone else. Don’t just live each day as if it were your last; live it realizing that it is someone else’s beginning. A life touched by God always ends in touching others.
“If I can stop one heart from breaking,
I shall not live in vain;
If I can ease one life the aching,
Or cool one pain,
Or help one fainting robin
Unto his nest again,
I shall not live in vain.”
~Emily Dickinson, “If I Can Stop One Heart From Breaking”

NEVER Say NEVER................
'Never Say Never'
“I’m never going to do this mistake again”, “I’ll never talk to him again”, “I’ll never go there again”, “No way….i’m never eating that again”, “Oh my experience was horrible..i’m not going through all this again…” etc. etc. How many times have we let the past dominate our present and our future? One bad experience, one misunderstanding, one bad deed..we let them rule our life, our thoughts, our actions and behaviour, our dealings with people, this world. One betrayal of trust makes us doubt everyone, one heart break..makes us lose faith in love itself?? The message which my heart wants to give you my friends is NEVER say NEVER…don’t you ever stop believing!!
Don’t focus your life on one event or person and always…always see the bigger picture, life itself!! Live life for many lives live you….yes some events may happen which may force you to think differently, for at those moments life will be surrounded by darkness and the things you believe in might seem meaningless…but don’t..dont stop living, for many others, which you mightn’t have thought of in the near future or perhaps for a long time, do exist who live to see a smile on your face. Believe in your dreams ad don’t lose faith. We want things to turn out in a certain way, but they don’t..know that there is a reason. Yes, of course it hurts…but think that if it was not meant to be and you found this out at the end that your dreams could’ve perhaps be realised in the way you desired, how would you feel? Think of it this way…God has a plan..and things will work out!
Maloom hai ki kabhi padega zindagi me rona,
Par kabhi galti se bhi muskurana naa chodo.
Sach hai ki zindagi ke pal beetate jayenge,
Par har pal ko yaadgar banana naa chodo!!
Nahi rakh sakte kisi cheez ko sada apna,
Chaahe kitna hi mutthi ko band karlo.
Lekin jab jo hona hai so hona hai..
Kyu naa uske saath palo ko dil me fir kaid kar lo!!
Kuch pal honge jaroor, jab sannata chaaro taraf hoga,
Lekin zindagi ki dhun par taal bajana naa chodo.
Samay aayega aisa jab dukho ke saamne kuch naa bolte banega,
Isiliye kabhi khushi ke geet gungunana naa chodo!!
Har dosti, har pyaar hamesha kaa kabhi kabhi nahi ho pata,
Isiliye bhoolkar bhi kisi rishtey ko naa mat bolo.
Nahi maloom kab sacha pyaar dil par dastak de,
Dil ke darvaze ko kholne ka kabhi bhi mauka naa chodo.
Nahi samajh me aata ki aakhir kyu aate hain kuch log jeevan me hamare,
Lekin woh kabhi chale jayenge…yeh sochkar naata na todo.
Kyunki jab hamare haatho me nahi hai zindagi ki dor,
Chaahe palbhar ki hi sahi, kyu us khushi se tum mooh modo??
Jaisa chahte hai hum, nahi waisa hamesha mil paata hamhe,
Lekin chaahat hi jeevan hai, is baat ko kabhi naa bhoolao.
Der-savair chaahe kitni lage, baadal cha jaaye har taraf..
Kabhi bhi..haan kabhi bhi apne vishwas par se vishwas naa uthao!!!
Manzil kabhi kabhi ho jaati hai bahut pyaari,
Lekin usse pakar jo kuch choot gaya hai, uske dukh ko kyu tum saho..
Zindagi ka safar, uske saathi bhi utna hi hai zaroori..
Kyu naa yeh baat jaan, apni manzil ke saath dil, pyaar, vishwas aur zindagi ko tum jeeto??
Mehnet karte hai hum kinhi ki khushi ke liye,
Lekin aisi khushi kya, jiske pal hi tum unke saath naa baant sako?
Jinki ek muskaan ke liye khoon paseena ek karte hai,
Kya zindagi jab us muskaan ki thandak ko hi naa mehsoos kar sako??
Ho jaati galtiyaan sabhi se, kabhi kabhi baar baar bhi,
Fir bhi mauka dekar sudhaarne kaa mauka jaroor do.
Pyaar aur dosti kaa yeh sandesh dilo ko jeet hai leta ..
Kya pata tumhare diye ek mauke se kiske jeevan kaa kalyaan ho?
Zindagi ek safar hai yaaro, kabhi kisi se rusvaa naa karo,
Gar hai pyaar kisi se, ruko naa...bas keh do!
Bair rakh kar kisi se kya mil jaana hai...
Kyun naa dosti kar doosri ke sang ek muskaan, ek zindagi baanto!!
Kitna hi tum koshish karlo,
Naa thamega naa rukega ye samma..
Mutthi ko chaahe kitnaa bheecho..
Fisalta jaayega har pal yeh lamha!
Jiyo..jeete raho..ek yaadgar dil me basao,
Jeevan ke kai mod hai, kabhi sukh to kabhi dukh hai..
Unme bhi..un pallo ko cheen lo..
Har aasoon me bhi ek hasi dhoondh lo!!
Sabr rakhna tum..vishwas apne sapno par,
Mushkile aayengi to haan kadam dagmagayenge..
Kabhi kabhi niraasha kaa daaman gherne ki koshish karega..
Lekin mann mei ho sachai..to nazre utha kar dekho..usme aasha ke taare jagmagayenge!!
Naa rokna apne mann ko kabhi, yeh duniya..tumhari hai,
Apne sapno se hai isko tumne sajaana, apne bal par isse hai jeetnaa!
Maana ki kathinayia todne ki tumhe koshish karengi,..
Yaad rakh mere dost..apne vishwas aur sapno ko kabhi alvida naa kehna..
Kabhi alvida naa kehna!!

Smile Again.......
I’m famous for my smile( read as grin) in my college and now in workplace too…I just thought i can share a simple fact that came to my mind..
A new software engineer “x” had come to our project. He is a typical village guy n very submissive. He is highly talented, a fact I came to know a few days after his appointment. My senior manager brought him and introduced him to all of us.We just SMILED and said a “hi”.He too SMILED and nodded his head.Few days later after his arrival, i had a job that needed his help in soldering and stuff like that. While i was talking with him, I understood he is not fluent in English and he has a pucca UP accent, the language which I don’t know. Somehow I managed to tell him my requirement and got my job done.I should say he does things very efficiently. From that day on, whenever I used to see him or viceversa, he gives me a very very friendly smile from which I can read “how are u? hope everything is fine..Is there any help needed regarding work”…It may look funny but its real..I understood that “smile” is also a language thru’ which we can convey things..:) Smile costs nothing…It can even change lives..isn’t it?

The Brick

A young and successful executive was traveling down a neighborhood street, going a bit too fast in his new Jaguar. He was watching for kids darting out from between parked cars and slowed down when he thought he saw something. As his car passed, no children appeared. Instead, a brick smashed into the Jag's side door!He slammed on the brakes and backed the Jag back to the spot where the brick had been thrown.
Now sobbing, the boy asked the stunned executive, 'Would you please help me get him back into his wheelchair? He's hurt and he's too heavy for me.'
If God had a refrigerator, your picture would be on it.
If He had a wallet, your photo would be in it.
He sends you flowers every spring.
He sends you a sunrise every morning Face it, friend - He is crazy about you!

Value of your smile

It happens in a flash, and the memory of it may last forever.
None are so rich that they can get along without it, and none so poor that they cannot be richer for its benefits.
It creates happiness in home, fosters goodwill in a business, and it is the counter sign of friends.
It is rest to the weary, daylight to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad, and nature’s best antidote for trouble.
Yet it cannot be begged, bought, borrowed or stolen, for it is something that is worth nothing to anyone until it is given away.
In the course of the day, some of your acquaintances may be too tired to give a smile. Give them one of yours. Nobody needs a smile so much as those who have none left to give.

Keep The Faith.....
He asks one of his new students to stand and.....
Prof: So you believe in God?
Student: Absolutely, sir.
Prof: Is God good?
Student: Sure.
Prof: Is God all-powerful?
Student: Yes.
Prof: My brother died of cancer even though he prayed to God to heal him.
Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But God didn't. How is this God good then? Hmm?
(Student is silent.)
Prof: You can't answer, can you? Let's start again, young fella. Is God good?
Student: Yes.
Prof: Is Satan good?
Student: No.
Prof: Where does Satan come from?
Student: From...God...
Prof: That's right. Tell me son, is there evil in this world?
Student: Yes.
Prof: Evil is everywhere, isn't it? And God did make everything. Correct?
Student: Yes.
Prof: So who created evil?
(Student does not answer.)
Prof: Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things exist in the world, don't they?
Student: Yes, sir.
Prof: So, who created them?
(Student has no answer.)
Prof: Science says you have 5 senses you use to identify and observe the world around you. Tell me, son...Have you ever seen God?
Student: No, sir.
Prof: Tell us if you have ever heard your God?
Student: No, sir.
Prof: Have you ever felt your God, tasted your God, smelt your God? Have you ever had any sensory perception of God for that matter?
Student: No, sir. I'm afraid I haven't.
Prof: Yet you still believe in Him?
Student: Yes.
Prof: According to empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says your GOD doesn't exist. What do you say to that, son?
Student: Nothing. I only have my faith.
Prof: Yes. Faith. And that is the problem science has.
Student: Professor, is there such a thing as heat?
Prof: Yes.
Student: And is there such a thing as cold?
Prof: Yes.
Student: No sir. There isn't.
(The lecture theatre becomes very quiet with this turn of events.)
Student : Sir, you can have lots of heat, even more heat, superheat, mega heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat. But we don't have anything called cold. We can hit 458 degrees below zero which is no heat, but we can't go any further after that.
There is no such thing as cold . Cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat is energy . Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it .
(There is pin-drop silence in the lecture theatre.)
Student: What about darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as darkness?
Prof: Yes. What is night if there isn't darkness?
Student : You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing light....But if you have no light constantly, you have nothing and it's called darkness, isn't it? In reality, darkness isn't. If it were you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn't you?
Prof: So what is the point you are making, young man?
Student: Sir, my point is your philosophical premise is flawed.
Prof: Flawed? Can you explain how?
Student: Sir, you are working on the premise of duality. You argue there is life and then there is death, a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science can't even explain a thought. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one.To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life: just the absence of it.
Now tell me, Professor.Do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?
Prof: If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, yes, of course, I do.
Student: Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?
(The Professor shakes his head with a smile, beginning to realize where the argument is going.)
Student: Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you not a scientist but a preacher? (The class is in uproar.)
Student: Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the Professor's brain?
(The class breaks out into laughter.)
Student: Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor's brain, felt it, touched or smelt it? No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no brain, sir.
With all due respect, sir, how do we then trust your lectures, sir?
(The room is silent. The professor stares at the student, his face unfathomable.)
Prof: I guess you'll have to take them on faith, son.
Student: That is it sir... The link between man & god is FAITH . That is all that keeps things moving & alive.
Key To Success

1. Ask For What You Want. How does the world know what to give you unless you put it out there? Ask for what you want and need.
2. Be The Person You Want To Be. It's call modeling. If you act like it, people will believe it. Assume the role you want others to see you in. Sell it from the inside out.
3. Believe In Yourself. If you don't, no one will. People will follow; you just need to lead them. Forget worrying; concentrate on making things happen. Action and momentum are infectious.
4. Make A Plan. No one goes anywhere without a destination. Know your destination, and plot your journey. Take whatever pleasures you need on the way, but know that you are moving forward and will arrive at your destination.
5. Nervous Or Excited. Realize that being nervous is the same as being excited. Instead of dreading it, welcome the surge of positive energy. Own it, and use it. It's infectious in a good way!
6. Thinking About Your Failure Brings Your Failure. Concentrate on your success and watch it happen. Your mind will move in whatever direction you point it in. Make sure it's pointed toward where you want to go and not otherwise.
7. Feel Whatever Way You Choose. You control your feelings. You allow yourself to be upset, annoyed or frustrated. Only you control your feelings and no one else. Take back the power you give others and choose to feel strong, clear-minded and in control.
8. Communicate. Listening and being understood are the keys to communication. People want to talk about themselves and they want to hear interesting things about you. No one wants to hear a sermon or hear a rant about your latest victory or great audition. Listen, observe and speak about mutually interesting subjects. Otherwise, you're a bore.
9. Freak Out. Bad audition, interview or meeting? Take ten minutes to beat yourself up. Blame yourself, be annoyed and frustrated. Then, learn your lesson and move on. Now that all your anger is gone, put your energy into the lessons learned and move forward once again.
10. Speak Your Mind, NOW. People swallow their feelings and anger; they postpone what they really want to say, thinking, "I'll just wait till a good time." DON'T! Handle the situation now, before the situation changes. Have a problem? Be a diplomat and talk about it. Handling a minor situation now will prevent it from becoming a festering chasm of misunderstanding and resentment later.
11. Dive In. Dive in and address the problem. Address your feelings and say, "I've got to be honest, I'm a big fan and I'm feeling a little intimidated right now." Everyone wants to deal with someone who's truthful and honest, and not afraid to address their own insecurities.
12. Exploit Yourself. Find out what makes you different and exploit it. Each of you has a quality that makes you unique. Instead of trying to be what others are, exploit your uniqueness.
13. Don't Accept The Unacceptable. Train people to treat you as you want to be treated. Being late is not acceptable, not returning calls is not acceptable and them not doing their job is not acceptable. Don't accept these behaviors from people.
14. Walk A Mile In Someone Else's Shoes. Be someone else. Changing perspective is an amazing tip to see the world from another point of view. You'll be amazed at the new perspective you gain.
15. Say Thank You. Send an email, a card or a simple phone call. Don't underestimate the value of someone feeling appreciated and recognized for their efforts. It leaves a lasting impression when someone thanks you for meeting or helping them.
