Smile Again.......

I’m famous for my smile( read as grin) in my college and now in workplace too…I just thought i can share a simple fact that came to my mind..

A new software engineer “x” had come to our project. He is a typical village guy n very submissive. He is highly talented, a fact I came to know a few days after his appointment. My senior manager brought him and introduced him to all of us.We just SMILED and said a “hi”.He too SMILED and nodded his head.Few days later after his arrival, i had a job that needed his help in soldering and stuff like that. While i was talking with him, I understood he is not fluent in English and he has a pucca UP accent, the language which I don’t know. Somehow I managed to tell him my requirement and got my job done.I should say he does things very efficiently. From that day on, whenever I used to see him or viceversa, he gives me a very very friendly smile from which I can read “how are u? hope everything is fine..Is there any help needed regarding work”…It may look funny but its real..I understood that “smile” is also a language thru’ which we can convey things..:) Smile costs nothing…It can even change lives..isn’t it?

Mamma.........So heart touching

Kailash kher at his best....

The song is from the movie Dasvidaniya. The song is a beautiful song, dedicated to mothers. I dont need to explain the meaning of the song as the song is very much self-explanatory.There is not much use of instruments in the song, just guitars and a djembe....

I dedicate this song to my mom, and you all can leave your comments if you too wanna dedicate this to your moms....

Maa,
Meri Maa,
Pyaari Maa... Mamaa
Hoo Maa, Meri Maa, Pyaari Maa... Mamaa

Haatho Ki Lakerien Badal Jayengi
Gum Ki Yeh Zanjeerein Peeghal Jayengi
Ho Khuda Pe Bhi Aasar, Tu Duaon Ka Hai Ghar
Meri Maa,
Meri Maa,
Pyaari Maa... Mammaa
Hoo Maa, Meri Maa, Pyaari Maa... Mammaa

Begdi Kismat Bhi Sawanr Jaayegi
Zindagi Tarane Khushi Ke Gayegi
Tere Hote Kiska Dar, Tu Duawon Ka Hai Ghar
Meri Maa,
Meri Maa,
Pyaari Maa... Mammaa
Hoo Maa, Meri Maa, Pyaari Maa... Mammaa

Yun Tu Mein.. Sab Se Nyara Hoon
Tera Maaa Mein Dulara Hoon
Yun Tu Mein.. Sab Se Nyara Hoon
Par Tera Maaa Mein Dulara Hoon
Duniya Mein Jeene Se Jyada Uljhan Hai Maaa
Tu Hai Amar Ka Jahan.......
Tu Gussa Karti Hai, Bada Accha Lagta Hai
Tu Kaan Pakati Hai, Badi Zor Se Lagta Hai, Meri Maa...
Meri Maa,
Meri Maa,
Pyaari Maa... Mammaa
Hoo Maa, Meri Maa, Pyaari Maa... Mammaa

Haatho Ki Lakerien Badal Jayengi
Gum Ki Yeh Zanjeerein Peeghal Jayengi
Ho Khuda Pe Bhi Aasar, Tu Duawon Ka Hai Ghar

Jeevan ka Gyan

Hi all,

Hassi mazak to ho gaya ab thoda jeevan ka gyan bhi ho jaye.........belive me these are words of experience, they can change ur life ( for good or bad ????????)

1. If time doesn't wait for you, don't worry!
Just remove the damn battery from the clock and Enjoy life!

2. Expecting the world to treat you fairly b'coz you are a good person islike expecting the lion not to attack you b'coz you are a vegetarian.Think about it.

3. Beauty isn't measured by outer appearance and what clothes we wear, butwhat we are inside. So!!!!, Try going out naked tomorrow and see theadmiration!

4. Don't walk as if you rule the world, walk as if you don't care whorules the world! That's called Attitude! Keep on rocking!

5. Every lady hopes that her daughter will marry a better man than she didand is convinced that her son will never find a wife as good as his father did!!!

6. He was a good man. He never smoked, nor drank & had no affair. When he died, the insurance company refused the claim. They said, he who never lived, cannot die!

7. So many options for suicide:Poison, sleeping pills, hanging, jumping from a building, lying on traintracks, but we chose Marriage, slow & sure!

8. All desirable things in life are either illegal, banned, expensive or married to someone else!

9. Laziness is our biggest enemy- Jawaharlal NehruWe should learn to love our enemies- Mahatma Gandhi .Ab aap hi bataaye - kiski sune - Bapu di ya Chacha di???

10. When things go wrong, when sadness fills your heart,When tears flow from your eyes - always say these words,Eh Ganpat!!!!, chal daru laâ.

11. 10% of road accidents are due to drunken driving.Which makes it a logical statement that 90% of accidents are due todriving without drinking!

Kuch Bhi Nahi Tha.......

Good Thoughts....

  1. Swami Vivekananda - In a day ,when you don't come across any problems - you can be sure that you are traveling in a wrong path.

  2. William Shakesphere - Three sentences for getting success : know more than other, work more than other and expect less than other.

  3. Adolph Hitler - If you win, you need not explain...But if you lose , you should not be there to explain.

  4. Alen Strike - Don't compare yourself with anyone in this world. If you do so, you are insulting yourself.

  5. Mother Teresa - If you cannot love the person whom we see, how can we love god, whom we cannot see ?

  6. Bonnie Blair - Winning doesn't always mean being first , winning means you are doing better than you have done before.

  7. Thomas Edison - I will not say that I failed 1000 times , I will say, I have discovered that there are 1000 ways that cause failure....

  8. Leo Tolstoy - Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one think of changing himself...

  9. Abrahim Lincon - Believing everybody is dangerous; believing nobody is very dangerous...

  10. Einstein - If someone feels that they have never made a mistake in their life, then it means they have never tried a new thing in their life.

  11. Charles - Never break four things in your life - Trust , Promise , Relation and Heart because when they break , they don't make noise, but pains a lot.

  12. Mother Teresa - If you start judging people, you will be having no time to love them.

All I Need to Know About Life.......

A very true and close friend of mine has made me believe in some real facts of life which I want to share.......

1. Good times are even better when they're shared.
2. A good long talk can cure almost anything.
3. Everyone needs someone with whom to share their secrets.
4. Listening is just as important as talking.
5. An understanding friend is better than a therapist; and cheaper, too!
6. Laughter makes the world a happier place.
7. Friends are like wine; they get better with age.
8. Sometimes you just need a shoulder to cry on.
9. Great minds think alike, especially when they are female!
10. When it comes to "bonding," females do it better.
11. YOU ARE NEVER TOO OLD FOR SLUMBER PARTIES!!!!
12. It's important to make time to do "girl things."
13. Calories don't count when having lunch (or any other food) with your girlfriends.
14. You can never have too many shoes or girlfriends.
15. GEMS MAY BE PRECIOUS, BUT FRIENDSHIP IS PRICELESS!!!!!

Pathar Mujhe Kehta Hai..........

Stages of Friendship

Stages of Friendship

In kindergarten your idea of a good friend was the person who let you have the red crayon when all that was left was the ugly black one.

In first grade your idea of a good friend was the person who went to the bathroom with you and held your hand as you walked through the scary halls.

In second grade your idea of a good friend was the person who helped you stand up to the class bully.

In third grade your idea of a good friend was the person who shared their lunch with you when you forgot yours on the bus.

In fourth grade your idea of a good friend was the person who was willing to switch square dancing partners in gym so you wouldn't have to be stuck do-si-do-ing with the dork of the class.

In fifth grade your idea of a friend was the person who saved a seat on the back of the bus for you.

In sixth grade your idea of a friend was the person who went up to your new crush, and asked them to dance with you, so that if they said no you wouldn't have to be embarrassed.

In seventh grade your idea of a friend was the person who let you copy the social studies homework from the night before that you had forgotten about.

In eighth grade your idea of a good friend was the person who helped you pack up your stuffed animals and old baseball cards so that your room would be a "high schooler's" room, but didn't laugh at you when you finished and broke out into tears.

In ninth grade your idea of a good friend was the person who went with you to that "cool" party thrown by a senior so you wouldn't wind up being the only freshman there.

In tenth grade your idea of a good friend was the person who changed their schedule so you would have someone to sit with at lunch.

In eleventh grade your idea of a good friend was the person who gave you rides in their new car, convinced your parents that you shouldn't be grounded, consoled you when you broke up with your significant other and found you a date to the prom.

In twelfth grade your idea of a good friend was the person who helped you pick out a college, assured you that you would get into that college, helped you deal with your parents who were having a hard time adjusting to the idea of letting you go.

At graduation your idea of a good friend was the person who was crying on the inside but managed the biggest smile one could give as they congratulated you.

====================================================================
The summer after twelfth grade your idea of a good friend was the person who :

  • Helped you clean up from that party.

  • Helped you sneak out of the house when you just couldn't deal with your parents.

  • Assured you that now that your significant other were back together, you could make it through anything.

  • Helped you pack up for college and just silently hugged you as you looked through blurry eyes at 18 years of memories you were leaving behind.

  • And finally on those last days of childhood, went out of their way to come over and send you off with a hug, a lot of memories and reassurance that you would make it in college as well as you had these past 18 years.

  • But most importantly sent you off to college knowing you were loved.

Now, your idea of a good friend is still the person who :

  • Gives you the better of the two choices.

  • Holds your hand when you're scared.

  • Helps you fight off those who try to take advantage of you.

  • Thinks of you at times when you are not there.

  • Reminds you of what you have forgotten.

  • Helps you put the past behind you but understands when you need to hold on to it a little longer.

  • Stays with you so that you have confidence.

  • Goes out of their way to make time for you.

  • Helps you clear up your mistakes.

  • Helps you deal with pressure from others.

  • Smiles for you when they are sad.

  • Helps you become a better person.

  • However most importantly loves you!

The Brick

THE BRICK

A young and successful executive was traveling down a neighborhood street, going a bit too fast in his new Jaguar. He was watching for kids darting out from between parked cars and slowed down when he thought he saw something. As his car passed, no children appeared. Instead, a brick smashed into the Jag's side door!He slammed on the brakes and backed the Jag back to the spot where the brick had been thrown.

The angry driver then jumped out of the car, grabbed the nearest kid and pushed him up against a parked car shouting, 'What was that all about and who are you? Just what the heck are you doing? That's a new car and that brick you threw is going to cost a lot of money Why did you do it?'

The young boy was apologetic. 'Please, mister...please, I'm sorry but I didn't know what else to do,' He pleaded. 'I threw the brick because no one else would stop...' With tears dripping down his face and off his chin, the youth pointed to a spot just around a parked car. 'It's my brother, 'he said 'He rolled off the curb and fell out of his wheelchair and I can't lift him up.'
Now sobbing, the boy asked the stunned executive, 'Would you please help me get him back into his wheelchair? He's hurt and he's too heavy for me.'

Moved beyond words, the driver tried to swallow the rapidly swelling lump in his throat. He hurriedly lifted the handicapped boy back into the wheelchair, then took out a linen handkerchief and dabbed at the fresh scrapes and cuts. A quick look told him everything was going to be okay. 'Thank you and may God bless you,' the grateful child told the stranger. Too shook up for words, the man simply watched the boy! push his wheelchair-bound brother down the sidewalk toward their home.

It was a long, slow walk back to the Jaguar. The damage was very noticeable, but the driver never bothered to repair the dented side door. He kept the dent there to remind him of this message: 'Don't go through life so fast that someone has to throw a brick at you to get your attention!'

God whispers in our souls and speaks to our hearts. Sometimes when we don't have time to listen, He has to throw a brick at us. It's our choice to listen or not.

Thought for the Day:
If God had a refrigerator, your picture would be on it.
If He had a wallet, your photo would be in it.
He sends you flowers every spring.
He sends you a sunrise every morning Face it, friend - He is crazy about you!

Hum Khushi Ki Chah Main.......

Dhundane chale the Zindagi,Zindagi se dur ho gaye

Jhute sapano ke liye,Hum bhatake kahaan kahaan
Dhundane chale the Zindagi,Zindagi se dur ho gaye

Bheed mein bhi tanaha jiye,Na paaye koi jahaan
Dhundane chale the Zindagi,Zindagi se dur ho gaye

Dhundane chale the Zindagi,Zindagi se dur ho gaye

Value of your smile

A smile costs nothing, but it creates much. It enriches those who receive it without impoverishing those who give it.

It happens in a flash, and the memory of it may last forever.

None are so rich that they can get along without it, and none so poor that they cannot be richer for its benefits.

It creates happiness in home, fosters goodwill in a business, and it is the counter sign of friends.

It is rest to the weary, daylight to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad, and nature’s best antidote for trouble.

Yet it cannot be begged, bought, borrowed or stolen, for it is something that is worth nothing to anyone until it is given away.

In the course of the day, some of your acquaintances may be too tired to give a smile. Give them one of yours. Nobody needs a smile so much as those who have none left to give.

Paths and Destiny........!!

Paths and Destiny........!!

Life and its dreams… From the laziest of beggars to the richest of kings, from the hearts of lovers to even the wicked souls, from the solitude of old couples to the crushes of teenagers, from the experiences of parents to the mischief’s of kids. All of us have our dreams.

Some more important than others, as there are some dreams which we see and hope for during the course of our life, and others, that we base our life around. It ranges from being the richest man on the planet to promoting world peace, from reaching a goal for oneself to living for others.. And sometimes-simpler things as just living life with those you love. As Shakespeare once put it, Life is a stage..

Yes indeed, in course of our life, in moving towards our destiny, we encounter several such players, some who play a role of few hours to some who shape our paths.
Believe me when I say this, each soul that enters our life to play a role is important and has a definite purpose that must be served for us to reach our manzil. Thing is we don’t know how long this saath is going to last, so all I will say is live every moment of this wonderful zindagi, value each person in your life, love them care for them and also watch out for that special person who will hold your hand along your way.. towards your dreams.

Thoughts on THOUGHTS.....

Strange are the ways of thinking & stranger still the thoughts... The eternal business that our mind keeps itself engaged in 24 x 7... They don’t have a self unless, one gives them a shape, a shape they can acquire when given a name... But strange enough as soon as they get a name, they are categorized as Good or Bad...

Love is Good, Hatred is bad;

Charity is Good, Selfishness is bad...

Just a label transforms a thought into a virtue or vice & why not! After all thoughts only motivate & inspire a person to act... Simple thoughts that govern rise & fall of dynasties & human beings...

But sometimes there are certain thoughts keep searching for words of ex-pression.. As if searching for a destination, a place where they will find their entity, where they would be able to realize themselves, where they would be heard, get known & could flow to the minds of others… Where someone else could identify with their existing non-existence... These thoughts which neither have a name, nor do they transpire themselves into action... Such thoughts live an ephemeral existence; as if transiting through the mind like rabbits hopping through the jungle, appearing for a while, attracting attention & then disappearing leaving behind a memory... although these thoughts remain unexpressed yet they leave an indelible mark on our personalities...

Whatever the thoughts may be: with a name or without, whether they are able to materialize into action or not and whether they get an ex-pression or not... Still they remain as thoughts, thoughts that make us what we are & thoughts that determine what we would be… They are the unique characteristic of mankind that distinguishes an individual from another, a mark of our own uniqueness & individuality...

Sometimes I wonder, but for these thoughts; could we have an identity? & If yes how meaningful would it have been, apart from adding to just another species on this heavenly planet… without these thoughts could we claim to be living then rather than merely existing… Thoughts are Thoughts after all!!

Cheers,
Saurabh

Friends to Me..........

A friend is someone you love. Not that you are “in love” with them, but you care about them and you think about them when they are not there. The people you are reminded of when you see something they might like, and you know this because you know them so well. They are the people whose pictures you have and whose faces are in your head regardless.

Friends are the people you feel safe around because you know they care about you. They call just to see how you are doing, because a friend doesn’t need an excuse. They tell you the truth, the first time, and you do the same. You know that if you have a problem, they are there to listen.

Friends are the people who won’t laugh at you or hurt you, and if they do hurt you they try hard to make it up to you. They are the people you love, regardless of whether you realize it.

Friends are the people you cried with when you got rejected from colleges and during the last song at the prom and at graduation. They are the people that when you hug them, you don’t think about how long to hug and who’s going to be the first one to let go.

They are the people who stop you from making mistakes and help you when you do. They are are the people whose hand you can hold, or you can hug or give them a kiss and not have it be awkward because they understand the things you do and they love you for them.

They stick with you and stand by you until the end. They hold your hand. They watch you live and you watch them live and you learn from them.

Your life is not the same without them.

Cheers,
Saurabh

Tum Se Hi....

Na hai yeh pana, na khona hi hai,
Tera na hona jane, kyun hona hi hai,
Har ghadi saans aati hai, zindagi kehlati hai, tumse hi, tumse hi
Na hai yeh pana, na khona hi hai
Tera na hona jane, kyun hona hi hai

Aankhon mein ankhein teri, bahoon mein baahein teri
Mera na mujhmein kuch raha, hua kya
Baaton mein baatein teri, raatein saugatein teri
Kyun tera sab yeh ho gaya, hua kya
Main kahin bhi jata hoon, tumse hi mil jata hoon, tumse hi, tumse hi

Jee chaahe kar lu is tarah wafa ka
Chhode na chhoote kabhi, tode na tute kabhi
Jo dhaga tumse jud gaya wafa ka
Main tera sarmaya hoon, jo main ban paya hoon, tumse hi, tumse hi
Raaste mil jaate hai, manzile mil jaati hai, tumse hi, tumse hi

Na hai yeh paana, na khona hi hai
Tera na hona jaane kyun hona hi hai

Bin Tum....

Aankhon mein inteezar ke badal baras gaye,
Hum dekhne ko aapka chehra taras gaye,
Bin tum gumsum hone lage, jaane kis duniya mein khone lage...

Is dor pe janejana chalta nahi koi jor
Tujhe dhoonti hai nazarein, zara saamne toh aa
Bebas hai dil yeh mera, dil thaamne toh aa
Saare jahaan mein tum hamein tanha sa kar gaye
Bin tum gumsum hone lage, jaane kis duniya mein khone lage...

Bheegi bheegi lagti hai raatein, dilbar teri yaad mein
Tu hi chupa rehta hai shaayad, meri har fariyaad mein
Tu kareeb dil ke itna, hai meharbaan re
Main sunu teri woh baatein, jo mann mein tu kahein
Kis dar jaan dekho tum meri dhadkan mein bas gaye
Bin tum gumsum hone lage, jaane kis duniya mein khone lage...

Tomorrow is Never Promised....

Tomorrow is Never Promised....
Sometimes people come into your lifeand you know right away that they were meant to be there, they serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lessonor help figure out who you areand who you want to become.

You never know who these people may be:your neighbour, child, long lost friend, lover, or even a complete strangerwho, when you lock eyes with them, you know at that very moment that they will affect your lifein some profound way.

And sometimes things happen to youand at the time they seem painful and unfair, but in reflection you realisethat without overcoming those obstaclesyou would have never realisedyour potential strength, will power, or heart.

Everything happens for a reason.Nothing happens by chanceor by means of good or bad luck.Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity, all occur to test the limits of your soul.
Without these small tests, whether they be events, illnesses, or relationships, life would be like a smoothly paved straight flat road to nowhere, safe and comfortable, but dull and utterly pointless.
The people you meet who affect your lifeand the successes and downfalls you experiencecreate who you are,and even the bad experiences can be learned from;In fact, they are probably the poignant and important ones.
If someone hurts you, betrays you , or breaks your heart, forgive them, for they have helped you learn about trustand the importance of being cautiousto whom you open your heart...
If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally, not only because they love you,but because they are teaching you to loveand opening your heart and eyes to thingsyou would have never seen or felt without them.
Make every day count.Appreciate every momentand take from it everything that you possibly can,for you may never be able to experience it again...
Talk to people you have never talked to before, and actually listen, let yourself fall in love, break free and set your sights high...
Hold your head upbecause you have every right to.Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself...for if you don't believe in yourself,no one else will believe in you either. You can make of your life anything you wish.
Create your own life and then go out and live it!!!"
Live Each Day As If It Were Your Last...
Tomorrow is Not Promised"

You cannot do kindness too soonbecause you never know how soon it will be too late...
Cheers,
Saurabh

If I knew...........

If I knew it would be the last time
That I'd see you fall asleep,
I would tuck you in more tightly
And pray the Lord, your soul to keep.

If I knew it would be the last time
That I see you walk out the door,
I would give you a hug and kiss
And call you back for one more.

If I knew it would be the last time
I'd hear your voice lifted up in praise,
I would video tape each action and word,
So I could play them back day after day.

If I knew it would be the last time,
I could spare an extra minute to stop
And say "I love you," instead of assuming
You would KNOW I do.

If I knew it would be the last time
I would be there to share your day,
Well I'm sure you'll have so many more,
So I can let just this one slip away.

For surely there's always tomorrow
To make up for an oversight,
And we always get a second chance
To make everything just right.

There will always be another day
To say "I love you," And certainly
There's another chance to say
Our "Anything I can do?"
But just in case I might be wrong,
And today is all I get,
I'd like to say how much I love you
And I hope we never forget.

Tomorrow is not promised to anyone,
Young or old alike,
And today may be the last chance
You get to hold your loved one tight.

So if you're waiting for tomorrow,
Why not do it today?
For if tomorrow never comes,
You'll surely regret the day,

That you didn't take that extra
Time for a smile, a hug, or a kiss
And you were too busy to grant someone,
What turned out to be their one last wish.

So hold your loved ones close today,
And whisper in their ear,
Tell them how much you love them
And that you'll always hold them dear

Take time to say "I'm sorry,"
"Please forgive me," "Thank you," or "It's okay."
And if tomorrow never comes,
You'll have no regrets about today.
Cheers,
Saurabh

Maa

The most touching song from the movie Taare Zameen Par....

Kya khabar tum ko dosti kya hai ,
Ye roshni bhi hai, andhera bhi hai,

Khwahishon say bhara jazeera bhi hai,
Bohat anmol ik heera bhi hai,

Dosti ik haseen khwab bhi hai,
Pass say dekho to sarab bhi hai,

Dukh milnay pe ye azab bhi hai,
Aur ye pyar ka jawab bhi hai,

Dosti yoon to maya jaal bhi hai ,
Ik haqeeqat bhi hai khayal bhi hai,

Kabhi furqat kabhi vissal bhi hai,
Kabhi zameen kabhi falak bhi hai,

Dosti jhoot bhi hai such bhi hai,
Dil main reh jaiay to kassuk bhi hai,

Kabhi ye haar kabhi jeet bhi hai,
Dosti saaz bhi sangeet bhi hai,

Sher bhi nazam bhi geet bhi hai ,
Wafa kia hai wafa bhi dosti hai,

Dil say nikli dua bhi dosti hai
Bus itna samajh lay tu.

Pyar ki inteha bhi dosti hai .........

Cheers,
Saurabh
